ABOUT THE INVENTOR
~JESSICA TAUFER~
Jessica Taufer invented the Sharp Crochet Hook after trying to crochet edgings on baby blankets she was making for her baby. Regular crochet hooks didn't easily go through the flannel because the tips of the hook were rounded, and it was too expensive to get the flannel hemstitched. She thought "there has to be a better way!" So the Sharp Crochet Hook was born.
Taufer has been crocheting since she was 5 and loves the relaxing, creative out it brings to her usual chaotic life. She was born in Oklahoma, went to high school in the Los Angeles area, graduated from BYU, and now lives in Northern Utah. She is married, and has three children under age 5.
Besides crocheting, she enjoys playing with her children- building forts, building towers, drawing in the driveway with chalk, and taking walks to the park. She likes to eat out with her friends and her husband occasionally. Her personality can be described as creative, friendly, and frugal.
